Stupidity or greed?

Filed under: Environment, News • Comments: None

Sometimes I think humans are the dumbest creatures on this planet.

Via Inquirer.

So, the story is the fishermen couldn’t free the whaleshark with their bare hands so they needed to cut the fins and tail…WHY DIDN’T THEY JUST CUT THE NET WITH THE KNIVES THEY OBVIOUSLY HAD?! DID THEY CUT THE FINS WITH THEIR BARE HANDS?! WHO COMES UP WITH THIS SHIT?!!!

I smell something fishy…and it ain’t the fish.

Going green

Filed under: Environment • Comments: 1

The jeepney, the quintessential automotive icon of the Philippines, is going green. Part of the Climate Friendly Cities project of GRIPP and supported by Greenpeace, the first two Electric Jeepneys will be launched in Bel-Air, Makati on November 20. These e-jeepneys should help mitigate climate change and reduce air pollution by not relying on fossil fuels.
